Grows at Low to middle elevations.

Commonly found in: Rocky shorelines, bluffs, meadows, forest edges. Likes well-drained soils.

  • Berries ripen in July, and eaten fresh or dried. Were mashed and dried as cakes.

  • Juice relieves stomach upset.
