Ecology
Grows at Low elevations elevations.
Commonly found in: Meadows, roadsides, tidal marshes, beaches.
Uses
CAUTION: Contains oxalic acid, which can be toxic in large quantities. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid ingesting dock. Can trigger hay fever and asthma.
Food
- Young stems and leaves steamed, boiled, or fried.
- Rich in protein, calcium, iron, potassium, vitamin C.

- Leaves rubbed on nettle stings ease burning.
- Treats sores, reduces itching, mouth rinse for healing mouth sores, mild laxative.
