Ecology

Grows at Low to sub-alpine elevations.

Commonly found in: Dry, warm, well-drained sites. Open hillsides and ridges, fields, meadows, dry forests.

Uses

CAUTION: Contains cardiac glycosides, which stimulates heart and increases blood pressure. Can irritate skin.

  • Treatment for headaches, indigestion, rheumatism, liver disease.
