Ecology
Grows at Low elevations.
Commonly found in: Slow-moving, shallow waters, along the edges of rivers, lakes and streams.
Uses
CAUTION: Looks very similar to poison hemlock.
Food
- Rich in vitamins A, B2, C, D, and E, and contains iodine.
- Eaten fresh in salads.
Medicine
- Treats canker sores and blisters in the mouth.
- Also used for skin issues, fevers, rheumatism, asthma, bronchitis, and liver, heart, and kidney problems.
